This Traditional Design pot is of prime quality with delicately hand coiled walls. This is an excellent piece of art with its symmetric hand painted lines and designs.
Hand made and signed by Manuel Olivas, this vase stands ~9-3/4" tall, ~5-1/4" wide and the circumference is ~19-3/4" with a ~2-1/4" opening. Manuel Olivas is one of the best potters of Mata Ortiz, and he has been profiled in the book The Story of Casas Grandes Pottery by Rick Cahill.
