An impressive work of art, the artist has a true understanding of the human form. This scuplture is full of incredible hand carved details. Superb skill, imagination, and ingenuity created this one. It was a twenty pound nugget of genuine Turquoise to begin with. The Turquoise itself looks to be some old Kingman Turquoise, but we can't be one hundred percent sure about that. It is full of traditional southwestern Native American imagery with artfully hand made depictions of a Native American maiden, bison, a wolf, a chief, and cliff dwellings. This sculpture has gorgeous carving on both the front and the back. Weighing an incredible nine pounds, this sculpture is 10-1/2" wide and 7" tall.
